Broward Family Medical Group is a family-owned and operated primary care practice in Pompano Beach run by husband-and-wife Glen and Megan Waskin. We believe in preventive medicine and continuity of care, which is why we care for our patients in the hospital as well (when permitted by their insurance). Glen and Megan are both on staff at Broward Health North, Broward Health Imperial Point, and Holy Cross Hospital. There is a full lab on-site for patient convenience. We offer same-day appointments, as well as evening hours on Wednesdays (for our working patients only). BFMG accepts most commercial and Medicare plans as well as some marketplace PPOs. What's Covered in My Wellness Visit?
The Annual Wellness Visit (AWV) is a yearly appointment with your primary care provider (PCP) to create or update a personalized prevention plan. This plan may help prevent illness based on your current health and risk factors. Keep in mind that the AWV is not a head-to-toe physical.
